Allison Buss – Forensic Review Analyst

Say hello to Allison Buss! Allison is a Forensic Review Analyst at Watchtower Security and a valued team member!
  • Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your role at the company?
  • How long have you been a part of the Watchtower Security team, and what initially drew you to this company?
    • I am 26 years old and have been a part of the Watchtower Security team for about four and a half years. I graduated college with a political science degree, minoring in criminal justice. Immediately after graduating, I was contacted regarding a position with the Forensic Review department. After learning more about the role and the company, I was drawn by the company culture and the position I started with. When starting, I began as an entry-level forensic review analyst and have progressed up to a tier 3 position.
  • What does your typical day at Watchtower look like?
    • My current responsibilities are to help support my team and the Forensic Review department as a whole to close out our current cases. Throughout a normal workday, I assess incoming cases and get to get a general start on each. I work my cases (which generally consist of higher priority cases (violent offenses, etc.), participate in meetings, and help my supervisor with any support needed throughout the day.
  • Can you share a particularly memorable achievement or project you’re proud to have been a part of?
  • Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests? How do you balance your personal passions with your professional life?
    • Some hobbies outside of work include playing softball and volleyball, traveling a lot, and playing with my pups.
  • Is there a particular quote, book, or piece of advice that resonates with you and influences your approach to work and life?
    • A particular movie quote that I love is “Just Keep Swimming” from Nemo (lol). It’s a children’s movie, but for me, it shows that even when things get hard and hardships happen, a better moment will come. You just have to believe that and continue on until it happens.
