Whether you’re a large organization or just a single person, no one is immune to the threats that pollution poses to our planet. With that in mind, Watchtower Security is making strides to go green by reducing waste and recycling more!
Watchtower Security is a fully managed, video surveillance company, exclusive to the Multifamily Industry. Reviewing video, and providing a full account of any event that takes place on your property can result in a lot of DVDs being created, and then sent to our clients. While we still offer this, we have created an easy way for our clients, and local law enforcement, to be able to download this video, directly to their own computer. All you have to do is simply click the download button under the video on your MyPortal account.
Around our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, MO. we have made some positive changes as well. Throughout our offices, we have replaced all of our office lighting to LED bulbs. Switching from normal fluorescent lighting to LED lighting can reduce energy consumption by up to 40% while producing approximately 27% more light! The EPA estimates that in an average office up to 90% of solid waste produced, is recyclable. In order to reduce our own waste and give each employee a chance to recycle more, we have placed recycling bins next to every trash can. In addition to recycling more, we are making the switch to reusable forks, knives, and spoons in our break room. Environmental issues concern us all, and Watchtower Security is trying to do our part.
